A Brief Word About Me

Some of my earliest childhood memories center around my fascination with toy soldiers. From my first Airfix plastics and Roco Mini Tanks to the discovery of Napoleonic wargaming whilst living in Oxford. Hinchliffe Napoleonics were my first metal miniatures, purchased at Howe's Model Shop. On my return to Tennessee, I discovered Minifigs and very shortly thereafter Ral Partha Miniatures. Now, later in life, I am finally able to indulge in collecting and painting miniatures I could never afford in my youth - much to the chagrin of my dear spouse of thirty years! The family keeps me from going too far off the deep end, but still the metal mountain has grown far larger than I can ever hope to paint!
