Moorish Spearmen or Invasion of the Smurfs
I found some more Ral Partha Moorish spearman for my Berber army. I have decided to go with a uniform look for the heavy infantry and they will be in the traditional blue Berber robes. I just couldn't resist posting a picture at this stage because it really does look like an invasion of Grandpa Smurfs!

Wow. Those figures bring back memories. I had buckets of Ral Partha figures in the 70s.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I have buckets of them now, all screaming to be painted! Actually, I'm very excited about putting together DBA armies made with the old Ral Parthas. I think I have the lead to make about another ten armies or so from the 1200 AD line, to the Renaissance and the Conquistadors and Aztecs.
